Job Description

We are looking for professionals with strong backend development skills (Java, .NET, or Kotlin) and Salesforce experience who are eager to train and become Oracle CPQ Developers. You will join a high-impact project with a top-tier global client and receive full training in Oracle CPQ—an in-demand tool used by Fortune 500 companies to optimize quote-to-cash processes. This is a fully remote and full-time position from Costa Rica, in payroll with benefits.

In this role, you’ll start with a training period (paid and full-time), during which you will be upskilled in Oracle CPQ by our expert team. Once training is completed and you’re ready to take on client tasks, you’ll move to a long-term contract with a competitive salary and benefits.

Key Responsabilities

Training Period:

Participate in a paid, full-time training program led by our internal team of Oracle CPQ experts to build foundational knowledge and hands-on skills with the CPQ platform and quote-to-cash processes.

After Training Period:

  • The Oracle CPQ Developer works under minimal direction of the B2B team and receives guidance from senior team members.
  • Actively partners with the Solution Architect to perform hands-on technical design, solution architecture, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and development tasks.
  • Develops a deep understanding of business processes and how Oracle CPQ enables our stakeholders internally and externally across the organization.
  • Translate business requirements into the CPQ system configurations.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable and meet business requirements. Identify and document technical gaps.
  • Liaise between technical, functional, business and system integrator teams.
  • Be recognized as Techno/Functional expert in CPQ.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess their needs and challenges and provide expert recommendations and solutions.
  • Design, develop and implement the CPQ solution to meet the stakeholder needs.
  • Provide direct and indirect mentorship and guidance to other team members, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in systems and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technological trends and innovations and assess their relevance to the organization.
  • Design technical specifications, leveraging best practices and minimizing the need for custom coding.
  • Provide consulting to improve business processes and drive growth through the CPQ system
  • Provide technical support for all systems integrated with the CPQ system.
  • Analyze data and business processes to ensure the CPQ system aligns with company objective
  • Customization of Oracle CPQ Instance. Customization involves modifying the existing Home Page, Configuration Page, and Commerce Pages. A very good understanding of JavaScript (specific to Oracle CPQ), CSS (specific to Oracle CPQ), and HTML is a must.
  • Since the site is heavily customized, that places a great deal of responsibility on BML to set data that can be used the customized JavaScript components. A sound understanding of BML is indispensable.
  • Understanding the System Configuration and BOM structure would help a lot to simplify the customization of Configuration Module
  • Should have a good knowledge of the Rest calls that send and receive data from CPQ instance to the external systems such as SAP or Salesforce
  • Should be well versed with the commerce actions and utilization of various commerce actions in real time scenario
  • Should be comfortable working with Json object creation, modification, Json functions related to Json traversal and interacting with live table data using BMQL.
  • Revise existing Oracle CPQ Cloud implementation to function with upcoming Oracle CPQ Cloud version upgrades
  • Perform other tasks as needed to achieve goals and objectives of the position, department, and company.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or .NET
  • Experience working with Salesforce
  • Strong knowledge of XSL, XML, JSON, CSS, SQL
  • Experience consuming or developing REST APIs
  • Previous experience with Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) systems—such as Oracle CPQ—is a strong plus, as is familiarity with quote-to-cash processes, pricing systems, or enterprise business logic.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
