Project Manager IT

Job Description

We are looking for an IT Project Manager to lead and oversee multiple software development projects. This person will be responsible for coordinating technical teams, gathering and documenting requirements, planning deliverables, and ensuring timely and efficient project execution. The role requires strong management skills, effective communication with clients, and solid technical knowledge, including the use of artificial intelligence tools and project management platforms such as Jira.

Main Responsibilities:

• Gather, document, and validate requirements with the client.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise activities for assigned projects.
• Coordinate follow-up meetings with internal teams and clients.
• Draft and send clear meeting minutes.
• Monitor deliverables and ensure project milestones are met.
• Manage and report project budgets in accordance with client guidelines.
• Maintain continuous client follow-up to ensure satisfaction and project progress.
• Use and promote project management tools such as Jira (or others that bring value to the team and client).
• Proactively propose ideas, solutions, and identify new requirements.
• Apply technical knowledge to translate client needs into viable solutions.
• Integrate AI tools into their workflow processes.

Requirements:

• Senior student in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience as a Project Manager in software development environments.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, project planning, and managing schedules and budgets.
• Knowledge of project management tools (preferably Jira).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in direct client interaction.
• Sufficient technical knowledge to engage with development and QA teams.
• Ability to write meeting minutes and basic technical documentation.
• Intermediate English proficiency (desirable for working with international clients).

Desirable Skills:

• Background in project management (Scrum Master, PMP, PMI-ACP or equivalents).
• Previous experience in tech companies or software factories.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Familiarity with collaborative tools like Notion, Confluence, Trello, Slack, etc.
• Experience using AI tools (like ChatGPT, Notion AI, etc.) to improve documentation, planning, or analysis processes.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, with initiative and client-oriented mindset.
