Business Systems Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a fully remote, full-time position. The initial contract is for a minimum of six months, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Analytical Proficiency: Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and technical requirements to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to design system solutions that meet both business needs and technical requirements.
• Technical and Business Expertise: Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and provide insight into the feasibility and impact of proposed solutions.
• Requirement Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of business requirements from gathering and documentation to validation and implementation.
• Integration and Process Mapping: Work on integrating new systems with existing infrastructures and map business processes to ensure seamless operation.
• Quality and Standards Assurance: Advocate for and ensure adherence to standards that promote system quality, scalability, and security, in alignment with business goals.
• Documentation and Analysis: Collect, document, and analyze business requirements and user stories, ensuring they are comprehensive and technically sound.
• Deployment and Transition Support: Provide support for the deployment of new systems or features, ensuring a smooth transition and that user training and documentation are in place.
• Effective Communication: Facilitate clear and concise communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure mutual understanding and alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• AWS Technical Knowledge: Demonstrate familiarity with AWS services and concepts to support the design and deployment of cloud-based solutions that align with business requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in large companies.
• Proven experience in conducting detailed analysis of business processes and technical requirements.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Demonstrated experience in overseeing the lifecycle of business requirements.
• Proficiency in integration and process mapping.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS services and cloud-based solutions.
• Strong understanding of system quality, scalability, and security standards.
• Ability to provide effective support during the deployment and transition of new systems or features.
• Experience working in a fully remote environment.
