Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an Senior DevOps Engineer to join our software development team. This candidate will be responsible for managing the release and deployment processes for multiple projects, administering cloud services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure. The ideal person will have deep knowledge in security, environment backup, and be capable of handling contingency plans in case of emergencies.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage and automate release and deployment processes for various projects, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
• Administer and optimize cloud services, specifically in AWS and Azure, ensuring efficient resource usage and data security.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment) solutions to improve the workflow and productivity of the development team.
• Ensure the security and backup of each environment, implementing data protection and recovery measures.
• Coordinate and execute the onboarding of new clients and projects, ensuring smooth and efficient integration into our systems.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Develop and execute contingency plans to ensure service continuity in case of emergencies or critical failures.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure successful deployments and resolve technical issues.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar DevOps role, with a track record of successfully managing release and deployment processes.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud services, specifically AWS and Azure, and experience in their administration.
• Strong understanding of best practices in IT security and backup.
• Ability to develop and execute contingency plans in case of emergencies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative and agile environment.

Desirable Skills:

• Certifications in AWS and/or Azure are a plus.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.).
• Experience with containers and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
