Job Description

The Senior PeopleSoft Technical Administrator is responsible for supporting and maintaining the Financial Support Chain Management (FSCM) and Human Capital Management (HCM) Enterprise systems. This role involves engaging with stakeholders, installing and configuring new systems, performing data and code migrations, coordinating environment refreshes, implementing software upgrades, configuring integrations, and troubleshooting intricate issues. The Senior Administrator also provides technical guidance and coaching to junior engineers.

Main Responsibilities
• Plan and perform PeopleSoft technical administration functions, including upgrades, updates, environment refreshes, data, code, and configuration object migrations.
• Troubleshoot PeopleSoft web and app domain issues and performance problems in non-production and production environments.
• Install, configure, and maintain PeopleSoft infrastructure tools, including WebLogic, Tuxedo, Java, and MicroFocus COBOL.
• Collaborate with project teams through the development lifecycle, including planning, environment build, testing support, and deployments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Support after-business hours releases and deployments as needed.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field with at least five (5) years of experience in software development or a related field. In lieu of a degree, eight (8) years of equivalent work experience is required.
• 4+ years of technical experience with PeopleSoft Architecture and PeopleSoft HCM or FSCM Application administration, including PeopleTools 8.5x, Integration Broker configuration, Process Scheduler maintenance, and executing work plans for updates and patches.
• Experience setting up integrations with PeopleSoft systems, Oracle DBMS SQL, and administering the PHIRE migration tool.
• Strong production support experience.

Equivalent Work Experience
• Experience in Oracle database administration.
• System administration on Unix/Linux platforms, including application installations, configurations, and troubleshooting.
• Web server administration, security, integration setup, and troubleshooting in production and non-production.
• Middleware knowledge, particularly with Oracle WebLogic or IBM WebSphere.

Desirable Skills
• Experience with process automation using DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.
• Experience working with JIRA.
• Exposure to ERP systems.
• Background in Windows administration.
