Job Description
The Associate Content Producer will be responsible for providing content authoring support for websites, apps, platforms, and databases. This role focuses on ensuring smooth content creation, publishing, and management across digital platforms. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, UX designers, and product managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality digital content. The ideal candidate should have experience working with content management systems (e.g., AEM), web technologies like HTML/CSS, and possess a strong understanding of digital production workflows.
Essential Responsibilities (Job Specific)
- Facilitates the digital production of content by: applying advanced strategies when building, creating, managing, releasing, and/or publishing content within the content management system(s); independently executing workflow tasks and overall processes to ensure optimal performance while also troubleshooting problems; reporting and resolving moderately complex production content incidents in a timely manner throughout the publication process and post-production; requesting defect fixes, enhancements, and maintenance changes within content management systems and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) independently; leading proactive communication with engineering and content architecture teams to ensure moderately complex content management strategy aligns with best practices; and triaging, and if possible, resolving routine to moderately complex defects logged by quality assurance teams or escalating to senior team members.
- Support other team members in coordinating with key stakeholders for each content initiative to ensure efficient and timely delivery of digital content. Work closely with other team members and cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and UX designers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, or related field AND minimum three (3) years of experience in user experience, digital content management, technical architecture, content management system (CMS) engineering, or a directly related field.
- Additional equivalent work experience of three (3) in a directly related field may be substituted for the degree requirement, for a total of six (6) years. Advanced degrees may be substituted for a portion of the work experience requirements.”
- “Two (2) years experience using Content Management Systems.(Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) preferred, others considered: Word Press, Drupal, SiteCore, Joomla, Sharepoint).
- Two (2) years experience working on projects involving the implementation of content or product life cycles.
Additional Requirements
- One (1) years experience working with JavaScript, HTML, and/or CSS.
- One (1) years experience working data analytics and reporting software.
- One (1) year experience utilizing or referencing accessibility standards.
Licenses and Certifications
- Trained in AEM – must receive certification within 6 months of hire;
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) years experience working for a health care organization
- Two (2) years experience working for an IT organization
- One (1) year experience working on projects or programs requiring the integration of cross-functional technology and/or business solutions.
- One (1) year experience identifying, documenting, and communicating business requirements for technical solutions.
- One (1) year experience in workflow analysis, including the use of modeling software (e.g., Visio).
- Two (2) years experience working on project or technical teams.
- Two (2) years work experience requiring the development of technical documents or presentations.
- One (1) year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above)
- Trained in PMP or equivalent product management methodology (Agile, SCRUM) preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project/program management certification (e.g., Agile, SCRUM).
