Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior User Interface (UI) Developer to join their in-house team, leading the charge in implementing cutting-edge retail Point of Sale (POS) technology. You will contribute to the development and deployment of the ELERA POS system from Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, a project poised to transform operations in diverse and dynamic markets.

Your Impact:
Reporting to the Director – IT POS, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the user experience across the system while ensuring compliance with evolving data regulations. From refining sales reporting tools to optimizing data entry for electronic invoicing, your contributions will directly influence operational efficiency across the enterprise.

What You’ll Do:

  • Transform UI/UX designs into responsive and intuitive interfaces for customer-facing applications.
  • Build and support web-based products that align with the client’s standards for quality and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and functionalities into the ELERA POS system.
  • Stay ahead of technological trends to ensure solutions remain compliant and competitive.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 3+ years in web development, focusing on customer-facing applications.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Proficient in TypeScript, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
    • Familiarity with Ajax, XML/JSON, NGINX, and Swagger.
    • Hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or AngularJS.
    • Knowledge of REST design principles and API integration.
    • Experience with Material Design frameworks like Vuetify or Bootstrap.
  • Development Practices: Strong version control skills with tools like Git or SVN.
  • Language Proficiency: Minimum conversational English required; fluency preferred.
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical skills for tackling complex development challenges.
