Job Description

These candidates will be responsible to collect AutoCAD drawings and PDF’s of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing  filles. Modify the drawings into a composite set or work with a vendor to complete. Accountable for the management and ongoing maintenance and updates of the buildings mechanical/electrical draining.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintaining a drawing file structure
  • Develop composite sets of drawings including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Life Safety drawings
  • Search Kaiser Archives and software  solutions for DWG or PDF file.
  • Customer Support to internal and external staff looking for drawings.
  • Develop and implement innovative methods for data cleanup and optimization for updating Kaisers systems of record from data on the drawings.
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues related to application operations.
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance to the application support team.
  • Manages staff in the coordination of the activities of the team
  • Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company.
  • Participates in the design, development, implementation of programs, policies and procedures to ensure all facilities (building, structures, systems, equipment, furnishings and physical environment) and grounds are maintained in an operationally effective, clean and safe manner.
  • Manages and resolves human resources, labor relations, employee and department safety, and risk management issues.                                                                                      

Job Qualifications

  • College degree or technical program in AutoCAD and a minimum of (6) years of experience
  • In lieu of College degree, equivalent experience of 3 years will be considered, in addition to the listed minimum years of experience (9 years total) in facility maintenance/management industry or directly related experience.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
  • 2 years of leadership experience with direct reports.

Additional Requirements

  • Experience in the management of building systems and possess knowledge of advanced building engineeringprinciples, especially as they relate to the medical care environment required.
  • Background in facility management, construction management and project management.
  • Experience in building a national archive with various softwares (e.g., Trimble, Unity Construction, or similar software)

Preferred Qualifications                                                                              

  • 2 years Experience working with AutoCAD MEP drawings and data analysis
