Job Description
Security architecture team performs security reviews of highly visible and high impact projects which impact KP nationally. In addition, the team maintains a set of security architectural documents (guardrails, design patterns etc.) to help scale security architectural practices across KP. This operational role will ‘act as the glue’ to run the operations of the security architecture team. This includes activities such as bandwidth/capacity management, queue management, review kick-off calls, facilitating office hours in partnership with architects, making sure remediation questions are followed-up on, operating the governance process for security architecture documents. In addition, this role also acts as the primary BCP plan owner for the security architecture team.
Essential Responsibilities
- Act as process owner for Project Security Reviews and execute the process for project security reviews (in partnership with architects and leadership)
- Act as the process owner for enterprise security assessments (ESA) process. The ESA process governs development and maintenance of security architectural artifacts
- Develop, Improve and Report on metrics for security architecture team
- Act as the primary BCP plan owner for the security architecture team
- Work with security architect team’s leadership to continously improve the efficiency of operational processes within the team
- Assist in other operational activities as directed by the leader of the security architecture team
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years in an operational program management role working with project or functional teams in an IT organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, CIS, Mathematics, or related field and Minimum ten (10) years experience in business operations, IT consulting, business analysis, or a related field. Additional three (3) yearsequivalent work experience for a total of thirteen (13) years may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three (3) years experience in capacity planning, demand management, and workforce planning.
- Four (4) years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with executive leadership (e.g., Vice President level and above).
- Five (5) years experience working on cross-functional project teams.
- Four (4) years experience working on projects or programs requiring the integration of cross-functional technology and/or business solutions.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, CIS, Mathematics, or related field.
- Healthcare IT organization experience
- One or more general security certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM etc.
- One or more program and service management certifications such as PMP, ITIL, Six Sigma etc.
