Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join the digital solutions team of a global leader in premium home and lifestyle products. In this role, you will design, build, and enhance Salesforce solutions that enable world-class customer engagement, streamlined business processes, and data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate with teams across Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, and IT to deliver scalable and reliable solutions on the Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds. This is a fully remote and full-time position from Costa Rica, in payroll with benefits.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy customized Salesforce solutions (Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flows).
- Support and enhance existing Salesforce applications across sales, service, and partner channels.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems (ERP, CPQ, marketing automation) using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring solutions align with the client’s IT architecture and security standards.
- Participate in code reviews, release planning, and system testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with business analysts, admins, and QA testers to deliver projects using Agile methodology.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Salesforce platform innovations and recommend best practices for adoption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Familiarity with integrations via APIs and tools such as MuleSoft, Informatica, or similar.
- Understanding of Salesforce security, governor limits, and performance considerations.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (minimum).
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer II or other advanced certifications (Sales/Service Cloud Consultant, Integration Architect).
- Experience with CPQ, partner community portals, or field service applications.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, Copado, Gearset).
- Strong communication skills with ability to work across business and technical teams.
