SQA Engineer- FlexPool Delivery
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly proficient SQA Engineer with expertise in Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud to join the Quality Management Shared Services (QMSS) team. This individual contributor is responsible for guiding and influencing the development of a formal Software Quality Services Framework and for supporting the development of software quality assurance test strategies. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Oracle HCM Cloud solutions within a large-scale enterprise environment, encompassing multiple collective agreements, business units, and legal entities. Operating within a Product operating model, you will leverage your deep functional and integration knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud to drive testing excellence and facilitate seamless deployment of new product features.The primary job duties this position is responsible for achieving are listed in Essential Responsibilities in order of importance.
Essential Responsibilities
- Leads and assists in developing quality assurance (QA) test project strategies, methodologies, and standard processes for moderately to highly complex IT , ensuring testability and traceability by analyzing business and technology requirements specifically for Oracle HCM Cloud implementations in complex enterprise environments.
- Develops quality assurance (QA) project plans for moderately to highly complex projects, participating in the identification of project scope, work plans, schedules, milestones, critical paths, and ensuring proper staffing, with guidance from senior team members as appropriate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand product requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
- Reviews and validates testable business processes, test data, and test environment requirements. Defines and ensures adherence with entry and exit criteria according to Kaiser testing standards.
- Manages the development of test scenarios and execution of test cases across all testing phases.
- Generates scheduled reports (e.g., test execution, defects, ad hoc reports) and provides daily test execution metrics to IT teams and management, as appropriate.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and scripts using tools such as Selenium with Java, Python, UiPath, UFT, etc. to enhance testing efficiency and scalability.
Minimum Qualifications
- One (1) year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
- Two (2) years’ experience in a lead role of a large matrixed organization.
- Three (3) years of experience working in a Product and Agile operating model, with a focus on delivering value through iterative releases and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and Minimum six (6) years experience in SQA, software testing or related field.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Four (4) years of experience with quality engineering automation practices specifically using Selenium, UIPath, LoadRunner, and UFT
- Two (2) years of experience with Jira and qTest
- Two (2) years of experience with ensuring supplier delivery performance (SLA/KPI/OKR enforcement, Governance, oversight).
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year in an informal lead role working with technical teams.
- Quality Assurance Institute (QAI) or similar certification
- Agile Scrum Master or Product Owner certification
- sAFE Certification
- Two (2) years of experience with US healthcare( Care Delivery) OR Epic (Cadence, Bridges, Ambulatory, Inpatient), HL7, Bridges, Webservices, Chrome, IE, Oracle Exadata, Angular, WebShpere, JRE
