Job Description

We are looking for a Sr. Content Producer to provide complex and highly consultative authoring support for digital platforms, including flagship websites, applications, and databases. This professional will be key in the digital production of content, applying advanced strategies for the creation, management, and publication of content within content management systems. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality content, ensuring that content initiatives align with best practices and meet end-user needs.

Essential Responsibilities                                                                                                  

  • Serves as a lead expert in the digital production of content by applying and developing advanced strategies to build, create, manage, release, and/or publish content within content management systems. Drives workflow tasks and overall processes to ensure optimal performance while also troubleshooting and resolving problems, reporting and resolving highly complex production content incidents in a timely manner throughout the publication and post-production process. Anticipates defect fixes, enhancements, and maintenance changes within content management systems; leads user acceptance testing (UAT); partners with engineering and content architecture teams to ensure content management strategies align with best practices; and triages and resolves highly complex defects logged by quality assurance teams.

  • Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) for content management and content production related to their experiences, which may include content stored across multiple platforms and AEM pillars.
  • Reviews Jira tickets/requests for their areas; clarifies questions or gaps in requests, and communicates status updates.
  • Maintains relationships with stakeholders—attends calls and provides feedback on CMS architecture and content management plans.
  • Prioritizes work/projects and assigns them to support partners as needed.
  • Manages end-to-end feature release projects.
  • Creates authoring estimates and sets publishing schedules.
  • Keeps authoring information (authoring guides, site owners, etc.) up-to-date.
  • Identifies production issues, reports them, and keeps the production issues log updated.
  • Maintains production dashboards for their areas and performs regular ticket quality assurance to ensure all production details are up-to-date.
  • Authors and publishes as needed.

Minimum Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS or related field and a minimum eight (8) years experience in IT consulting, business analysis, or a related field.                                       
  • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, equivalent work experience of three (3) years may be substituted for a total of eleven (11) years experience.

Additional Requirements

  • Five (5) years experience working with JavaScript, HTML, and/or CSS.
  • Three (3) years experience working data analytics and reporting software. 
  • Three (3) year experience utilizing or referencing accessibility standards.
  • Five (5) years experience using Content Management Systems, (Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) preferred, others considered: Word Press, Drupal, SiteCore, Joomla, Sharepoint).                                                                                               

Preferred Qualifications                                                  

  • Four (4) years experience working for a health care organization
  • Four (4) years experience working for an IT organization
  • Three (3) years experience working on projects or programs requiring the integration of cross-functional technology and/or business solutions.
  • Four (4) years experience in workflow analysis, including the use of modeling software (e.g., Visio).
  • Four (4) years in a leadership role working with project or technical teams.
  • Three (3) years experience working on cross-functional project teams
  • Four (4) years experience in business case development and analysis
  • Two (2) years experience managing vendor relationships.
  • Two (2) years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with executive leadership (e.g., Vice President level and above)
  • Five (5) years consulting experience in hospital operations.
