In addition to the responsibilities listed below, this position participates in the incident and problem management process by resolving issues through troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Essential Responsibilities
- Completes work assignments by applying up-to-date knowledge in subject area to meet deadlines; following procedures and policies, and applying data and resources to support projects or initiatives; collaborating with others, often cross-functionally, to solve business problems; upporting the completion of priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicating progress and information; identifying and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities when possible; and escalating issues or risks as appropriate.

- Collaborate with team members (business analysts, software engineers, database engineers and managers) with diverse and varied technical skills sets to design and deliver Power BI & Tableau services relating to the following areas: Platform Management, Onboarding & Consulting, & User Community.
- Assist existing and onboarding tenants with Power BI in alignment with designated practices around design, develop, and deployment practices in support of maintaining and tuning Power BI report solutions.
- Serve as a Business Intelligence technical subject matter expert (SME) in basic Power BI & Tableau concepts.
- Working daily within a dynamic multidisciplinary analytics team environment, taking direction from technical leaders, IT partners, and business partners.
- Naturally curious and interested in growing their own knowledge set, self-motivated and quick to learn and apply knowledge with the KP analytics ecosystem.
- Ability to champion and manage new initiatives to completion to improve and streamline operations processes and maximize systems efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Social Science, Education, Business, Health Care or related field or minimum Two (2) years working in IT or operations.
- Experience in Power BI or Tableau.
- Power BI desktop or Tableau creator knowledge.
- Developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI or Tableau reports
- Familiarity with the Microsoft PowerApps suite.
- Competence with common office communication tools (Microsoft suite, Teams, Visio).
- Competence with Microsoft CoPilot products
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Additional Requirements
- This role will be directly customer facing and customer service skills to assist BI tenants with varying levels of technical acumen are essential
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the master systems of record for data analytics
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics
- Knowledge of advanced data modeling techniques; predictive modeling, link analysis, graphical analysis, supervised and unsupervised models
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills & effective written and oral communications skills.
- Sound planning and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
- Experience writing SQL used in report customizations
- Experience with complex data sets
