Job Description

In addition to the responsibilities listed below, this position drives the incident and problem management process by resolving complex issues (e.g., root cause analysis, coordinate prevention plan execution) and addressing second level escalations as appropriate.                               

Essential Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members (business analysts, software engineers, database engineers and managers) with diverse and varied technical skills sets to design and deliver Power BI & Tableau services relating to the following areas: Product Management, Platform Management, Architecture & Product Stewardship, Onboarding & Consulting, User Community, Demand & Growth Management.
• Oversight of multiple on-premise and cloud environments supporting Power BI & Tableau.
• Assist in governing licensing allocation for Power BI & Tableau.
• Assist existing and onboarding tenants with Power BI design, develop, and deployment practices in support of maintaining and tuning Power BI report solutions.
• Serve as a Business Intelligence technical subject matter expert (SME), responsible for the work associated in designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and improving analytic reports and dashboards primarily leveraging Power BI & Tableau.
• Responsible for the ongoing operational stability of the Power BI reporting environment, ensuring objects are properly monitored and audited to provide data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of delivery.
• Working daily within a dynamic multidisciplinary analytics team environment, taking direction from technical leaders, IT partners, and business partners.
• Naturally curious and interested in growing their own knowledge set, self-motivated and quick to learn and apply knowledge with the KP analytics ecosystem.
• Ability to champion and manage new initiatives to completion to improve and streamline operations processes and maximize systems efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years experience inend-to-end application/infrastructureproduction support.
• Minimum two (2) years in a leadrole working with IT or operationalteams.
• Bachelor’s degree in ComputerScience, Engineering, Social Science,Education, Business, Health Care or related field and Minimum eight (8)years working in IT or operations.
• Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Minimum 4 years expertise in Power BI or Tableau and 1 year expertise in alternate platform (example – 4+ years Power BI & 1+ year, Tableau or 1+ year Power BI & 4+ years Tableau)
• Power BI \ Fabric development and administration.
• Power BI desktop.
• DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
• Developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports
• SME and familiarity with the Microsoft PowerApps suite.
• Development and integration experience with REST services.
• Competence with common office communication tools (Microsoft suite, Teams, Visio).
• Competence with Microsoft CoPilot products
• Basic programming knowledge on HTML, JavaScript (or any scripting language).
• Tableau Platform Administration
• Tableau Creator Expertise
• Windows Server Experience
• Azure PaaS expertise
• Minimum of three years of relevant development experience.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal                                      

Additional Requirements

• This role will be directly customer facing and customer service skills to assist BI tenants with varying levels of technical acumen are essential  

Preferred Qualifications

• In depth knowledge of the our master systems of record for data analytics
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics
• 3+ years of data warehouse analysis experience including the ability to read Data Flow Diagrams, Conceptual and Physical Models
• Expert level experience with Microsoft Power BI and\or Tableau
• Coding skills in languages such as Python and/or R
• Experience with advanced data modeling techniques; predictive modeling, link analysis, graphical analysis, supervised and unsupervised models
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills & effective written and oral communications skills.
• Sound planning and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
• 2+ years of experience writing SQL used in report customizations
• Demonstrated experience with complex data sets
