Test Data Engineer Consultant

Job Description

This individual contributor is responsible for guiding and influencing the development of a formal Global Quality Services Framework and for supporting the development of software quality assurance test strategies.This position is responsible for overseeing major programming efforts, designing and developing test data for testing.

Essential Responsibilities

• Identifies, defines, and mitigates complex issues, dependencies, and risks related to testing.
• Determines business requirements and workflows, and collaborates with cross-functional IT and business stakeholders to review the overall test data approach.
• Ensures test data setup plans and timelines are aligned with project/program milestones.
• Leads and assists in the development of the test data management.
• Develops strategies, methodologies, and standard processes for moderately to highly complex IT initiatives across multiple QA domains by analyzing business and technology requirements to ensure appropriate test data support.
• Reviews and validates testable business processes, test data, and test environment requirements.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 
• Defines and ensures adherence with entry and exit criteria according to Kaiser testing standards.
• Manages the development of test data for all testing phases (e.g., SIT, Performance, UAT, Automation, Production, Validation).
• Generates scheduled reports for test data management and provides periodic updates to management, as appropriate.
• Identifies workflows that can be automated to reduce manual effort with test data provisioning.
• Leverages new technology such as AI for test data management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and Minimum eight (8) years experience in SQA, software testing or related field.
• In lieu of degree, 3 years of equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement for a total of 11 years.
• Minimum eight (8) years experience working with Java and Java based automation framework.
• Minimum eight (8) years experience working with Webservice APIs and related technologis (REST, JSON, XML, SOAP)
• Minimum four (4) years experience working with CI/CD, Github, Jenkins.
• Minimum four (4) years experience working with scripting languages like shell, groovy, etc
• Must have good exposure to system integration and debugging skills.
• Minimum four (4) years experience working with Oracle, SQL DB.
• Minimum five (5) years in an informal leadership role working with technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Coming with ideas to improve the scope of automation
• Two (2) years experience working in healthcare testing environments.
• Having one(1) year experience of any Windows based application test scripting using tools such as UFT
• Knowledge on HL7
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field.
• Quality Assurance Institute (QAI) or American Society for Quality (ASQ) or similar certification.
